BREAKING NEWS – Seven VE Day 75th Anniversary 50p Coins released!

This year we mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day. The day which marked the end of World War II in Europe and brought long-awaited peace to our nation.

To commemorate this historic anniversary, and one of the most important dates of the 20th century, not one, not two… BUT SEVEN BRAND NEW 50p coins have been authorised for release.

    My favourite is T because when people think of the war they think of the planes and the terrific role they played but they forget about the massive role the ships played at sea

    My favourite has to be the last one when war is over and the soldier returns to his wife and child such a perfect lovely design
