How can you easily tell the difference between an England Commonwealth Games coin from the Northern Ireland as they is normally just a tiny splodge (if you use a magnifying glass!)

Oops, sorry. My comment should have said “hide the fact that the coin is the 2019 one”

Your video mentions fake 50p 2009 Kew coins, which in the main are rubbish quality. Some sellers on eBay at least say they are copies and picture the Queen’s kneckline where the word copy is shown. Sadly some fakes are made to defraud unwary collectors.
The one coin you did not mention is the genuine Kew 50p issued in 2019 which is collectable but not as valuable. Some eBay sellers try to hide the fact that the coin is the 2009 one in order to up the profit they make. I have seen someone bid almost £100 for one of these.

Why havn’t we had any £2 coins issued for some time? And why are there no new £2 coins come into circulation for quite a while? Will we be seeing the new James Bond £2 come into circulation?

One of my work colleagues used a Kew 50p in one of our vending machines nearly 4 years ago; I was actually surprised there were any left in circulation. That coin was retrieved from the machine and is currently in my friend’s Nan’s collection.

Is a BU coin more valuable than a circulated find? I have a Kew garden 50p and £1 Edinburgh as part or different sets.

Am I correct that there is going to be a Rupert Bear 50p coin release?
