Why stop at London, Paddington goes to Paris, USA or Egypt.

That’s a great idea – thanks for the comment! 🙂

I Love the new Paddington bear looks really at home with his marmalade sandwich can’t wait for the next one to arrive at St Paul’s cathedral . I thought it is great value details are more prominent than the first coins in the series

I agree Carol, with the marmalade sandwich on one coin and the tag around his neck on the other, the fine detail on these coins are great! Have you pre-ordered the St Paul’s cathedral coin? If not, you can here 🙂 : http://www.westminstercollection.com/paddingtontower50p

Why don’t you release one all the way from darkest Peru

    • Adam Turnbull on August 27, 2019 at 9:54 am

I love that idea Richard, it would have been a good way to start the collection. The first coin Paddington in Peru and the next arriving at Paddington station!

love the Paddington bear coins but lets not go overboard having him popping up everywhere it’s going to run expensive for collectors and they ‘ll end up being so common that no one will be interested anymore.

Thanks for the comment Denise and of course, this is understandably always a worry for collectors. But don’t forget the standard circulation coins will be entering circulation, so you might even see the latest Paddington 50ps pop up in your change!

What about Paddington with his friends, would make a great set for the children.

    • Adam Turnbull on August 27, 2019 at 10:00 am

Hi Les, I agree! It’s great to see classic literature characters from Peter Rabbit to the Gruffalo and now Paddington, appearing on coins that will of course appeal to younger collectors!

All the Paddington Bear 50 p coins are great! How about Paddington at The White Cliffs of Dover (if we get a Brexit ) or Stonehenge for a couple of iconic British locations suggestions?

    • Adam Turnbull on August 27, 2019 at 9:53 am

Great suggestions Michael, especially considering how popular the A-Z of Britain 10ps proved! 🙂

I think the latest Paddington 50p has a lot more detail than the originals, and hope the next will have just as much detail. Looking forward to seeing, and having, the St Pauls 50p and adding these to my growing collections. ?

    • Adam Turnbull on August 27, 2019 at 11:48 am

Hi John, I agree – my first suggestion was London eye!
